Ear Cuffs: How They Work

An ear cuff sits on the outer rim of the ear rather than through a piercing. Seven of the cuffs here are plain cuffs that grip the rim and need no piercing at all. Four are chained styles: a cuff joined to a lobe stud, or a cuff sold with separate studs. Those need a pierced lobe for the stud. Each product page says which kind it is, and a few are shaped for the right ear only.

All are high-grade brass with an anti-tarnish coating, in gold-tone or silver-tone, nickel-free, lead-free and cadmium-free, set with cubic zirconia or glass.

Do ear cuffs need a piercing?

Most of ours do not. Seven are plain cuffs that grip the ear rim. The four chained styles include a stud, and that stud needs a pierced lobe. The product page for each cuff states which it is.

How do I put on an ear cuff?

Slide the cuff onto the thinnest part of the ear rim, usually the middle, then move it up or down to where it feels secure. Gently squeeze the band to tighten the hold. Do not bend it repeatedly, which weakens the metal.

Will an ear cuff fall off?

A cuff that is gently tightened to your ear holds well through a normal day. Check the fit in a mirror before going out, and take it off before sleeping, as pressure on the pillow can loosen it.

Is an ear cuff for the left or right ear?

Most can be worn on either. A few are shaped for the right ear, and their product pages say so.

Can I return it if it does not suit me?

Yes. Returns and exchanges are accepted within 5 days of delivery on unworn pieces in their original packaging. Message us on WhatsApp or email with your order number and we arrange a courier pickup.
