Anti-Tarnish Necklaces for Daily Wear
Pendants, lariats and the tulip crystal necklaces, on gold-tone chains in high-grade brass with an anti-tarnish coating. Every necklace is nickel-free, lead-free and cadmium-free. Stones are cubic zirconia or glass, and pearls are faux.
A necklace sits against the neck all day and meets perfume, lotion and sweat, so it is the piece whose finish benefits most from a little care: put it on after perfume, wipe it with a soft dry cloth after wearing, and store it dry.
- Can I wear an anti-tarnish necklace every day?
- Yes, that is what it is for. Daily wear does wear the coating gradually, so it lasts longest when kept away from perfume, sweat and water and stored dry between wears.
- Is it real gold?
- No. It is high-grade brass with a gold-tone or silver-tone anti-tarnish coating. It is not solid gold, gold vermeil or sterling silver, and is not hallmarked to any precious-metal standard.
- Are the stones real?
- No. The stones are cubic zirconia or glass and the pearls are faux. Colour names such as red or purple describe the colour of the stone, not a gemstone.
- Can I wear it in water?
- It is water-resistant, not waterproof. Washing your hands is fine. Take it off before bathing, swimming or exercise, because water, sweat and chlorine are what wear the coating fastest.
- How long does delivery take?
